Some of these are self-explanatory, like worldbuilding for the races or Arthelais/her lover, but some others-- the Queen Issa mythology, the parallels between the mythological Queen Issa and the Princess Issa, the baffling obsession with teeth for the holy procession...?
I would love to see some more about that. The Director's Cut gave us more for Aris and the mythological/royal culture of the Empire in general, as well as byplay between the main cast and backstory for them, and hooooly cow did Jimmy really get played out in the extended version, but I am so hungry for more.
And the Samandrai Bennu riding culture? Someone with more experience in husbandry, I have a mighty need--
